Rebecca Rogers, MD is the Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Albany Medical Center.  

Rebecca Rogers, M.D., is Professor and chair in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rogers’ clinical interests focus on female pelvic medicine (incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse) and reconstructive surgery. Prior to her position at Albany, Dr. Rogers was Associate Chair of Clinical Integration and Operations at Dell Medical School in Austin Texas and served for many years as the Division Director for Urogynaecology at the University of New Mexico.  Dr. Rogers completed a urogynaecology fellowship and residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Boston, after receiving a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  She has authored over 200 papers and made significant contributions to the development of patient-reported outcome measures with a focus on sexual function.  She received a lifetime achievement award from the National Association for Continence for her substantial contributions to urogynaecology in clinical care, research, and education.
